Family Support

The Family Resource Center is an on-site facility at West High School. We believe that it takes a community to educate and care for our students. Therefore, we are here to provide, and coordinate services aimed at helping students and families thrive. Here at West, we understand that it is hard to focus on school when a family is dealing with life’s challenges. So, whether you need some extra food from our pantry, a warm coat, help navigating the community, or just someone to talk to. Feel free to stop by and give us a visit.

Donations:

Here are a few items the Family Resource Center can always use:

• Nonperishable food items: peanut butter, jam, tuna, rice, pasta, beans, etc.

• Backpacks and school supplies: erasers, rulers, sharpeners, glue, scissors, etc.

• Large and extra-large coats

• Business casual clothing

• Shoes for women and men

Food Pantry

The West High Family Resource Center is lucky enough to partner with the Utah Food Bank to provide West High with a food pantry service. Our goal is that no one in our West High family go hungry. We will be distributing food to families every Friday from 11:00-6:00PM outside the cafeteria. If you have any questions, please give us a call at ext. 231
