  • Criteria: High school seniors, U.S. citizens who are 17 years of age by Sept.1st of the year you plan to enter college. Must apply to a college offering and ROTC program.

  • Criteria: All current Utah high school students.

    Topic - In January 2021, Utah will have its first new governor in 12 years. If you were able to meet for an hour right before they started the job to discuss what you feel is the most important issue facing the state, what advice would you give the new governor and why? (600 words or less)

    Amount: $500 - $2,000 cash award - Students do not need to attend Westminster College to receive award.

  • Criteria: Grades 7-12. 350-word essay about “The Bill of Rights and me” through a local FRA branch (Ogden in UT).

    Amount: $1,000-$5,000

  • Criteria: High school senior of Hispanic heritage. GPA of 3.0 or higher. Permanent Resident, DACA, U.S. Citizen or Eligible Non-Citizen

  • Criteria: High school seniors who demonstrate ambition and self-drive by outstanding achievement in an activity in school, community or workplace.

    Amount:$2500 - $25000(plus $1,000 for teacher)
