BENNINGTON YOUNG WRITERS AWARD
Criteria: 9, 10, 11 and 12th grade students submit one of the following:
Poetry (group of three poems),
fiction (a short story or one-act play),
or nonfiction (a personal or academic essay).
Amount:$250 - $500 (winners and finalists also eligible for undergraduate scholarships at Bennington up to $60,000).
NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing
Criteria: 9th-12th grade students who self-identify as women, genderqueer, or non-binary. Aptitude and aspirations in technology and computing, as demonstrated by computing related activities and experience, leadership experience, tenacity in the face of barriers to access, and plans for post-secondary education.
Deadline: November 5th 2020
PRUDENTIAL SPIRIT OF COMMUNITY AWARDS
Criteria: Students of grades 5-12, making a difference through volunteering. Legal U.S. residents. Have engaged in a volunteer activity in thelast12months.
Amount:$1,000 -$5,000 and a trip to Washington D.C.

UTAH SENATE VISUAL ARTS Scholarship Competition
Criteria: Grades 9 – 12, Utah students. Submit a two-dimensional, original visual art image.
Amount: 17 my529 awards $500 to 5,000

Criteria: Must be enrolled in a postsecondary program that leads to a construction-related career. Citizenship and/or residency restrictions apply.

ELKS MOST VALUABLE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria: High school seniors with academic excellence, community involvement, leadership and financial needs. US Citizens.
Amount:$4000 to 50000
Criteria: Senior, US citizen / permanent resident with demonstrated financial need. Strength of character, leadership potential, academic performance.
Amount: Last dollar, annually-renewable, four-year college scholarship

JAMES ALAN COX PHOTOGRAPHY SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria: Sophomore and above. Should have taken at least one photography or related art class.
Deadline: November 15, 2020
Criteria: Seniors who have taken the required classes in grades 9-12, have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 and an ACT score of 22 and above and have filled out the FAFSA.
Priority Deadline: Opens November 16, 2020. The final deadline is February 1, 2021.
UNIGO EDUCATION MATTERS SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria:14 years and older. US legal resident. 250-word essay on "What would you say to someone who thinks education doesn't matter, or that college is a waste of time and money?"
Deadline: November 30, 2020
DAR GOOD CITIZENS SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria: Graduating high school seniors. US Citizen. Applicants must plan to attend an accredited college or university in the USA.
Amount: Award $1,000 to $5,000
Deadline: November 1, 2020 – January 31, 2021
EQUITABLE EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP (formerly AXA Achievement Scholarship)
Criteria: High school seniors who demonstrate ambition and self-drive by outstanding achievement in an activity in school, community or workplace.
Amount:$2500 - $25000(plus $1,000 for teacher)
Deadline: Opens September 1st 2020. Deadline December 15, 2020, but only the first 10,000 applications will be accepted. Apply as early as possible!
